Tyler Wright

Flooring Professional

Tyler began his flooring career in 2024 and joined the Carpet One team in 2025. His favorite part of the job? Helping customers customize their space to fit their vision. No two projects are alike, and that's exactly what keeps things exciting.

 

He specializes in glue-down vinyl plank and carpet, and takes pride in being part of a team that genuinely collaborates. Seeing a customer light up over their new floors never gets old.

 

Outside of work, you'll find him in the mountains—hunting, fishing, or backpacking. He also coaches high school football and stays active year-round. He starts every morning with a glass of water.

Khris Goertzen

Flooring Professional

Kris Goertzen was born & raised in Manitoba, Canada, where she graduated high school. She spent 7 years on the east coast of Canada in Saint John, New Brunswick before moving to Baker City, where she's lived for the last 21 years.

 

Twenty of those years were spent working at Baker City Carpet Express, where she gained much experience in the flooring industry. 

 

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, working in the yard and volunteering in Bible education as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Kyle Huntsman

Flooring Professional

Kyle joined Carpet One in February of 2024, starting his career in La Grande at House to Home Furnishings. He joined the Baker City team in 2026, with a long-term goal of expanding his training in the flooring industry: a family tradition. 

 

Kyle enjoys chatting with customers and learning how to build meaningful rapport. Well-versed in Laz-Z-Boy furniture and Serta mattresses, he's swiftly becoming an expert on local flooring favorites like glue-down vinyl plank.

 

When he's not working hard to assist his many return customers, he enjoys playing lots of golf, snowboarding, and being outdoors: hunting, camping, fishing, and being lakeside.
