Our Story

The original Carpet One Floor & Home in La Grande was founded in 1977 by Russell Perry, initially under the name “Fashion Floors.” Since officially becoming part of the Carpet One network in 1996, the store has remained at its current location for over 25 years, becoming a fixture in the community. In 2003, a second location opened in Enterprise, and in 2018, the Baker City showroom began operations, expanding our reach throughout Eastern Oregon.

When Perry retired in 2015, he passed the business to long-time employees Lloyd Berry, Jared Bedard, and Brent Huntsmen. They continue the legacy of prioritizing people above all else and delivering the “ultimate customer experience” from start to finish.
